Course Overview

SKOOL21 offers STEM learning opportunities for our young learners starting from
age 3 to 5. Using magnetic blocks, learners can safely solve problems using the
blocks and recognize colours and shapes to follow the sequence in the STEM resource book. Using the sequence provided, learners working in groups collaborate, communicate and critically evaluate the viewpoints of each other to build projects creatively. Such opportunities enable young learners with a framework to approach a problem and how to solve it while working in a team.

Course Outcome

STEM Resource Book used in the course offers STEM challenges aligned with the National curriculum objectives. It develops learners’ communication, critical thinking, collaboration, and creativity as learners are challenged to design and build alphabets and numbers in groups. Where they collectively brainstorm and construct it together with different roles. Therefore learners get an opportunity to convert their learning into making and building projects in which they are engaged and have a fun learning experience. These projects enable the development of a maker mindset and leadership from the experience of working with the team to achieve set goals. Reviewed
