Privacy notice

Who we are. SKOOL21 PTE. LTD. (Singapore) runs this website. In this notice, “we” means SKOOL21 PTE. LTD. and its group companies, SKOOL21 LIMITED (England and Wales) and SKOOL21 LLC (California, United States).

What we collect. Only what you give us: when you write to info@skool21.org or use the contact form, we receive your name, email address, organisation, country, role and message. We do not ask for anything we do not need to reply.

Why we use it. To answer your enquiry, send the information you asked for, and keep a record of the conversation. We do not use it for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not share it except with partners who help us respond to you, such as the local distributor for your country.

How long we keep it. Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to deal with them and for up to two years afterwards, unless you become a customer or partner.

Your rights. You can ask us to show you, correct, export or delete the personal data we hold about you, and to stop contacting you. Write to info@skool21.org. If you are in Singapore, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or California, you also have the rights your local law gives you, and you may complain to your local data protection authority.

Transfers. We work across several countries, so your details may be handled in Singapore, the United Kingdom, the United States and the country of your local partner. We use appropriate safeguards where the law requires them.

Children’s data

This website is for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children through this website. If you think a child has sent us personal data, tell us and we will delete it.

In schools. When schools use SKOOL21 workbooks, kits and assessments, the school decides how learner information is used. SKOOL21 acts on the school’s instructions. The digital learning platform is under development. When it opens to schools, these commitments will apply and the full data terms will be published first:

• Collect only what is needed to teach and measure learning, as listed on the Assessment and Evidence page.
• Never show advertising to learners, never sell learner data, and never use it to build advertising profiles.
• Use learner records only to support the school’s teaching and to improve SKOOL21 learning materials in de-identified form.
• Give schools a way to review, export and delete learner records, and to answer a parent’s request.
• Collect parental or school consent where the law requires it, including for learners under 13 in the United States (COPPA) and under the age limits set by local law elsewhere.
• Report any data breach to the affected school without undue delay.

Photographs and media

Photographs and film of children appear only where the school and the child’s parents have given consent. We never show a child’s full name beside their photograph. If you are a parent or school and want an image removed, write to info@skool21.org and we will remove it promptly.
